[About the app]

Samsung Good Vibes is a two-way communication app for the deafblind. It converts text or voice into vibrations & vibrations into text or voice.

[How it works]

Using Morse Code, a language almost as old as Braille, Samsung Good Vibes breaks down the barrier of communication for the deafblind. The app interprets every letter of the English alphabets & numbers into Morse Code and Morse Code into English alphabets & numbers.

[An App with 2 interfaces]

There are two types of interfaces of Samsung Good Vibes app-

a. A deafblind person - The deafblind can’t see, hear or speak, but they have a heightened sense of touch. The deafblind can touch and feel the vibrations of the smartphone. The deafblind person can send a message from this app through pressing the screen and sending message through Morse code. In Morse Code all alphabets and letters are a combination of a dot & dash. The alphabets can be entered on the screen through vibration where dot is a entered as a small tap and dash is entered as a long tap. Likewise the message can be read through vibrations by the deafblind where small vibration means dot and long vibration means dash.

b. A person with normal vision - anyone can send a message, by typing or speaking. It is a standard chat/voice interface that is delivered to the deafblind person as vibrations.

Always on - The app can be always on, which allows the deafblind to start using Samsung Good Vibes without the need to power on the app.

 En utilisant le code Morse, une langue presque aussi vieille que le braille, Samsung Good Vibes élimine la barrière de la communication pour les sourds-aveugles. L'application interprète chaque lettre des alphabets et chiffres anglais en code Morse et en code Morse en alphabets et chiffres anglais.

 [Une application avec 2 interfaces]

 Il existe deux types d’interfaces de l’application Samsung Good Vibes.

 une. Un sourd-aveugle - Le sourd-aveugle ne peut pas voir, entendre ou parler, mais son sens du toucher est élevé. Le sourd-aveugle peut toucher et ressentir les vibrations du smartphone. La personne sourde-aveugle peut envoyer un message à partir de cette application en appuyant sur l'écran et en envoyant un message en code Morse. En code Morse, tous les alphabets et lettres sont une combinaison de points et de tirets. Les alphabets peuvent être entrés à l'écran par vibration, où le point correspond à un petit tapotement et le tiret à un tapotement long. De même, le sourd-aveugle peut lire le message par vibrations, les petites vibrations signifiant point et les longues vibrations, tiret.

 b. Une personne ayant une vision normale - n'importe qui peut envoyer un message en tapant ou en parlant. C'est une interface de discussion / voix standard qui est transmise au sourd-aveugle sous forme de vibrations.

 Toujours actif: l'application peut être toujours active, ce qui permet aux sourds-aveugles de commencer à utiliser Samsung Good Vibes sans avoir à le mettre sous tension.
